Hi there,
We hope all our customers are doing well even in these difficult circumstances. We know it is a tricky time for everyone right now.
In a matter of weeks, life as we know it has changed completely. Most of us are now embracing our self-isolated lives as best we can. But it's still hard. We get it. We are feeling the same way.
It's okay to feel upset, stressed, sad, and angry right now. Embrace those feelings. And ignore the pressure. Ignore the social media messages right now telling you to be motivated, productive, work hard, workout, learn new skills. You don't have to do anything you don't want to.
We've got to take a moment to collectively grieve over what has been lost in our lives. For you that could mean sitting on a couch binge-watching The Tiger King, or crafting a home workout routine. Both are okay. Both are perfectly acceptable ways to cope. But don't let what other's are doing make you feel bad for your choices. You do you.
Self-care in this time can be hard. You may feel guilty about it. You don't have to be guilty. This will pass but for now it's not over, and the effect on our mental health will be immense. So take little moments each day to find something that nurtures your soul and mind; meditate, do yoga, go for a walk (keeping your distance), have a bath, eat something, call a friend, do a facemask. Do something that brings you a little bit of happiness in these hard times.
We will get through this. But for now, do what is best for you. Take all the time you need to process what's happening. It will be okay ❤️
Take care.
Love,
The team at Dilly's Collections
